On Thursday 7th February 86 candidates from around the parish, along with their sponsors, families and friends, gathered in Corpus Christi Church to be confirmed by Bishop Marcus. Despite reservations about too many attending we were a perfect fit, and the service was moving & fitting with lively music, powerful prayers and a thought-inspiring homily by the Bishop. Afterwards the newly confirmed assembled on the altar for a group photo, an appropriate send-off and culmination for all the hard work from all who assisted with the preparation programme and Mass itself; we of course pray for them as they embark on the next stage of their faith journey.
