LSMA Christmas Festival Concert at Leeds Town Hall
On Tuesday evening seven pupils from our School Choir sang at
the Town Hall Christmas Festival concert along with pupils from
forty-one other primary schools across Leeds.
It was a truly amazing evening. Our pupils sang beautifully and
thoroughly enjoyed the experience of performing with a live
orchestra in such a magnificent venue.
Advent Service at Corpus Christi Church.

The East Leeds Catholic Cluster of schools held their Annual Advent Service at Corpus Christi Church on Thursday evening. Again our School Choir represented us beautifully with both their singing and reading. All that hard work and practising certainly paid off as the congregation were all reminded of the true spiritual message of Christmas.
A big thank you to all those who represented our school.
Reception Christmas Nativity
‘Nursery Rhyme Nativity'

On Tuesday, Year 1 presented their Christmas Nativity, ‘A King is Born'. They delivered a wonderful performance retelling the Christmas story and sharing the special news that baby Jesus was born. Parents, carers and visitors commended all of their singing and acting.
Well done Class 3. We are very proud of you!
KNIGHTS OF ST COLUMBA
CHRISTMAS ART COMPETITION.

Before Christmas our pupils took part in the Knights of St. Columba annual Christmas Art Competition. They produced some wonderful paintings which were judged alongside over 200 entries from other school in Leeds.
On Friday, Mr Colllins visited our school on behalf of the Knights. We were delighted when he an- nounced that Ieva has been placed 3rd in the Key Stage 2 section. Not only was Amelia in Reception placed 1st in the Key Stage 1 section for Leeds but was also the overall winner for the Yorkshire Province (the Yorkshire and Humberside counties). Her painting has also been selected as the Yorkshire Province winner to go forward to the national competition which will be judged in early February.
AMAZING NEWS...
Amelia won 1st Place, both for the Yorkshire Province for
Key Stage 1 and also the Leeds Area.
Ieva won 3rd Place for the Leeds Area for Key Stage 2.
Congratulations we are very proud of you!

As part of our preparations for Advent, Corpus Christi Primary School is supporting the charity of St. Vincent De Paul. Children brought items of food into school and these were donated to provide some comfort for those in need. The charity was very grateful for all our donations.
A big thank you to all parents and carers for their generosity.
