Festive fun was definitely had as the small child in each one of us came to life on this Christmas Youth Special in the parish. We kicked off with a 'well-stocked' Christmas buffet, followed by a VERY competitive time of team games! And the older people were, the more competitive they were! We laughed and laughed as water pistols did some damage, people pinned tails and noses onto reindeers (some serious cheating going on there!) and a crazy game of charades got everyone moving!

Afterwards we cleared up and spent a few moments preparing ourselves to go and watch the live Nativity at Corpus Christi Church. We watched a video about Jesus being the 'cord' that runs through the whole of Christmas, and then we headed to Corpus for a beautiful service. There was a real donkey, some impressive costumes, and even a real family as Mary, Joseph and Jesus! We then moved into the hall for mince pies and a little hello to Santa Claus.

What a day!
