- OPENING PRAYER
- APOLOGIES - Fr Michael at funeral reception.

- MATTERS ARISING NOT ALREADY ON THE AGENDA
St Theresa's church not yet open during the morning. Looking at the security of the church.
- CHILDREN'S LITURGY AT SUNDAY PARISH MASS
It is good this is happening in all our churches.
Growth at SG (weekly) - Continue at CC (monthly) & ST (weekly).
More catechists at all churches needed. The volunteers must have a current DBS.
The liturgy should be mentioned at all the Sacramental preparation.
Parents should be encouraged via the primary school newsletters.
Possibly have a catechist speak at the schools.
- FAMILY MASS & FUTURE PARTICIPATION
LD thinks this is successful. Last one was on November 26th then the Vigil Mass at
Christmas.
Must be more manageable going forward.
Children's liturgy should be more of a link to the Family Masses. Families should be encouraged to come.
If mistakes happen and some children do not attend well that's just life.
CC Church liturgy group prepare the family Mass not the school.
Masses so far have been good.
DATE OF NEXT FAMILY MASSES: 4th February - 10th March Mothering Sunday - 21st April - 19th May - NOT JUNE - NOT JULY

- SACRAMENT PREPARATIONS
Confirmation - The candidates had a day of spiritual preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation on the 7th February.
Reconciliation - Letters have been sent to year 3 parents of Catholic children in the primary schools inviting them to register their child for the 3 sacraments.
Action carried forward was to approach the children at the sacrament preparation sessions to come forward for altar serving at weekend Masses.
Children to be encouraged to be involved with serving or reading in church after receiving the Sacraments.
- R.C.I.A. JOURNEY TO FAITH PROGRAMME IN PARISH - Those interested in becoming part of the Catholic faith. Preparations start Wednesday 24th January. Awaiting contact. Course given by Fr Pat.
How do we get people involved to help with the preparation course. PW waiting for ex volunteers to come forward.
- PREPARATIONS IN 2024 FOR HOLY YEAR 2025
Blessed Sacrament adoration already in the parish half an hour before weekday Masses and an hour of adoration each Saturday before Mass at 12.15pm.
A small leaflet available in each church contains prayers for before the Blessed Sacrament,
KSC lead prayers on the 3rd Saturday of each month before the Blessed Sacrament.
3rd Sunday of each month a Holy Hour at 3pm in St Gregory's church.
PW obtained a DVD on the Blessed Sacrament, which is a 6-week course, this could be delivered between Easter - Pentecost.
More resources to be published by the Diocese.
The schools are preparing leaflets and prayers for the Holy Year.
23rd June a procession around the 3 churches in preparation for the Holy Year and something bigger in 2025. Starting at 2pm in St Gregory's then to St Theresa's then finishing at Corpus Christi.
Oscott day coach from parish. Priest to travel with a group.
- HOLY YEAR 2025 PILGRIMS OF HOPE
Parish pilgrimage somewhere during this special year. Possibly to Rome. There are many places in England we could visit.
More publicity possibly in Advent 2024.
- SEMINAR ABOUT PARISH WHERE IS YOUR PARISH GOING
Sheelagh & Tony Pickles attend 3rd February.
27th January at St Benedict's. Joy & Kerry to attend. MG Booked places.
17th February Trinity Conference 9am to 5pm.
- PARISH DIARY UPDATE STARTED
Sheelagh has produced a Year Planner for the PPC. To decide where this is to be placed.

- More weeks of prayer coming during the year.
- Notice in church regarding turning off mobiles when entering church. Announce before all Masses to make sure mobiles are turned off. Possibly the priest, reader or steward.
