  2. APOLOGIES: Deacon Sean, Fr Darren, Sr Nora, Ben Science

  3. MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
    • Baptism preparation - someone has taken the new resources to look at and then
      prepare a team to help.

  4. MATTERS ARISING NOT ALREADY ON THE AGENDA
    Sacramental preparation for Confirmation, First Confession and Marriage is happening now.
    First Holy Communion will start after Easter.
    Fr Pat is preparing individuals with the RCIA sacrament so they can marry during this year.

  5. FUTURE OF PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL/MEMBERSHIP AND FORMATION
    • All present members of the current PPC have requested to step down.
    • Fr Pat thanks all those who has been on the PPC for their valued help - support and time.
    • Fr Pat produced a handout about "What is the Parish Pastoral Council" and what the PPC does it do and what the PPC is NOT.
    • Advertise in the parish for anyone who is interested in opting onto the PPC.
    • Clergy to speak from the pulpit not just a notice on the bulletin or notice board ASAP.
    • Notice be in the schools.
    • PPC member to ask around to see if they can get any interest.
    • Suggestion to have a PPC open evening for anyone interested to come and ask questions from those current on the PPC.


  6. ANY OTHER BUSINESS:
    Children's liturgy - in our 3 churches. No help at St Gregory's but also no children coming.
    Alison does not want to be the sole person taking the liturgy.

    Churches Together quiet day - well attended by our parish. Overall, 39 presents.
    The next event is a "Churches Together Picnic" around June the King's Coronation.

    Other people to bring things to the meeting - inform the PPC of what their group has achieved.
    Fr Michael has been training children at St Theresa's primary school to serve Mass and Fr Pat is hoping to get a group of servers training at Corpus Christi.

    St Theresa's church
    remain closed following the break ins late last year.

    Fr Michael is going down very well at St Theresa's primary school.

    The clergy continue to visit the sick and housebound on a monthly basic.
