DEAR all Parish members of ST JOHN HENRY NEWMAN.

I am GRATEFUL to receive from you all so many Cards in last few days.
This is a GREAT sign of your kindness, Love and fraternity.
Some of the messages are very striking and emotional.
I could not response to ALL one by one, However I wish to say few things from my heart.
Since August 2014 we walked together in Prayers, in Holy Masses with some of you in schools with some of you in pilgrimages, with some of you in Big get together and many other social events …your hospitality and your expression of gratitude and your friendship this all very memorable and colourful events will be rooted in my heart for ever.
I have learned so many thing from your starting from my poor English to be improved daily. Some of you coming in sacristy Fr. G it is pronounced like this… this is honestly to say, you show me your great kindness and your gentleness.

I have learned from St. John Henry Newman how much you keen to your great faith through your Sunday Mass and through events of Confirmation and First Holy Communions…this your deep appreciation for your faith and life and I am so impressed especially to see on Saturday's lunch time Mass to attend in massive number and to come to reconciliation with is the base source of our life and our faith.
I believe strongly through the daily prayer intercession of St John Henry Newman we were able to attend and see his Canonisation.

Some parish member in their letter recently they have said to me Fr G, "because of you I did have two altar boys". It is indeed because of your formation and encouragements and because of our wonderful catechists we see them in massive number in our altars, I advise you to continue to encourage your children, teach them how to be strong in faith, pray with them at home teach them to know Jesus more than any other thing, not only because they are the future of the church, but also they are the precious present alive in our Catholic Church.

Very sad in these pandemic times we separate silently.

Please PRAY for me. In this new responsibility of Parish Priest. Truly I need your prayers.
I assure you that you are all in my heart and in my deepest thoughts and prayers.
Thank you so much for everything.
May God Bless you and Keep you safe and protected always and everywhere.

Yours in Christ
Fr Ghebreyesus GHEBREZGHI
(Fr. G)
