Only four weeks after Fr. Pat’s Induction Mass, the people of the Parish gathered once again in the Newman Centre for a faith supper. This time the occasion was the presentation of gifts to both Fr. Paul and to Fr. Emmanuel in recognition of their sterling work in the Parish.

Fr. Paul leaves the Parish after only three years to take up a new position as Vicar General and Fr. Emmanuel leaves after only two years to take up a new position as Parish Priest in Huddersfield.

The Chair of the Parish Pastoral Council, Sheelagh Pickles, presented Fr. Paul and Fr. Emmanuel with a cheque for £1,000 each.

Following the presentation, everyone tucked into the feast that was the faith supper and Fr. Paul and Fr. Emmanuel circulated amongst those present sharing many stories of their happy times in the Parish.
