New Parish Pastoral Council Members:


The Foundation Document of the Parish Pastoral Council requires that 3 members of the present council step down. The term for a member is 3 years with the possibility of reappointment. Members may only serve two consecutive terms.

Nominations are required from each of our churches to represent the individual church on the council,

The PPC meet 6 times a year with a Reflection & prayer evening followed by a social.

Patrick Bradley, Sheila Kennedy and Angela Des Rosier are due to step down this year after serving for 3 years.

 Patrick has chosen not to stand for re-election. We thank him for his valuable service to the Council. Patrick will continue to be involved with the Family & Youth meeting which he helped to set up.

 Sheila is willing stand for re-election against anyone else who is nominated.

 Angela has chosen not to stand for re-election. We thank her for her valuable service to the Council. WE hope Angela will continue to work on the Proclaim 15 programme.

Nominations are required in writing giving the person’s name, address and telephone number together with your name as nominator.

These must be forwarded to the parish office by the 13th December. The nominee must be willing to serve on the council.

If more nominations are received than are required then a vote will be taken in the relevant church.


Voting will be 3rd / 10th January 2015.
