THREE THERESA’S

Read 3098 Times
Lots of us have a love of a particular Saint. St Anthony, St Francis,
St Joseph, St Peter, St Paul to name but a few.
They were people who met life’s challenges head on just like you and me.
Certainly not as they are depicted sometimes in renaissance paintings holding a flower.

St Theresa of Lisieux was known as the Little Flower. Of her many sayings, two come to mind:

“I will pass my heaven in doing good on earth”
another was,” I will send down a shower of roses”

So how do those roses get down here?

St Teresa of Avila said, “Christ has no hands or feet but ours”
That’s how those roses get down here!

Mother Theresa of Calcutta said:

I can do things you can’t do.
You can do things I can’t do.
Together we can do something beautiful for God!
