Baptisms, Marriages & Requiem Mass or Service for Funerals
can now take place in our 3 churches. The maximum who can attend is 30 people. BUT ONLY 15 people for weddings
. The same guidance applies to these services - no singing - no standing or kneeling
Sacramental Preparations: During lockdown all the Sacraments have been on hold.
We can now conduct infant Baptisms, Weddings and Requiem Mass in all our churches. The number that can attend has been laid down by the government and number of people who can attend is 30.

We have received an update from the Diocese about the preparation of our children for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
Following all the government guidelines it is looking like we cannot use our schools, parish centre or churches for preparation of the children. We need to wait until the Diocese return to us with more guideline on how the Catechist, children and families can prepare for the 3 Sacraments. Will keep you updates when we receive any more details.
Sunday Mass Sheets: The leaflets are for ONE USE ONLY and MUST be taken home with you. Please do not leave it in church or on the table as you leave.
Face Covering / Masks in church
Is available after all Masses. Please wait to see the priest after Communion has been distributed.
- Face coverings are mandatory
in Places of Worship. If you forget your mask there are a few available in the church porch at a cost of 50p each.
We have received a revised update from the Diocese which takes into account the Governments latest advice on COVID 19 within our Churches. Toilet facilities will be available if needed.
An organist can play during Mass and sing NOT THE PEOPLE.
Clergy or Extraordinary Ministers of Communion:
Our Priests can now visit the sick & housebound in their own homes. This can be only 1 person in the morning and another in the afternoon. The Priest will wear a Mask & Gloves. Each person will be contacted to arrange an appointment for the priest to visit.
If you know of anyone who would like a visit please contact the parish office any weekday morning with the person's name, address and contact telephone number.
If you wish to help with stewarding please contact the Parish Office on 0113 2645260 any weekday morning or email as above. The more help we receive means we can spread the stewarding over a longer period.

REMINDER FOR ALL MASSES:
After you receive Holy Communion you are asked to leave the church immediately and not return to your seat. Please DO NOT linger at the statues or the side of the altar. This is for the health and safety of all present.

Church Cleaning - St Theresa's
September is SVP Awareness Month.
Here in our Parish we have 3 conferences one in each church. During lockdown they have continued to serve the needed of our whole parish area.
Many parishioners have continued all during lockdown and since, to drop off to the parish office food and cash donations which have helped many families in the area. Food can be brought to any of our church when you attend Mass.
