'Give me the living water, so that I may never get thirsty'

Read 1678 Times
You can imagine how important water is to those who live in countries like the Holy Land. Tourists are warned to drink plenty of water everyday while they are touring around to the different sites. Bottled water is on sale in every street. Water in these places is sacred and in the future it is not unthinkable that it could become a commodity that could cause conflict as oil deposits do today.

Imagine, in your mind, the relief one gets, when, after a time of being starved of water in a hot climate, the cool drops of crystal clear water touch the parched mouth. Water is something that supports life and you cannot exist without it.

All water comes from a well or from rain. Rains can stop and wells run dry. Imaging Jesus promising living water. This is something special. This is water that continues and never runs out. Imagine the love of Jesus flowing to you as living water. Think of your heart and soul being drenched by that living love of Jesus

Just as you enjoy your thirst being quenched so too enjoy
your very soul being refreshed by the love of Christ himself.
