An Open Invitation to YOU


Eighteen months ago a Parish Pastoral Council was formed in the newly created parish of Blessed John Henry Newman. What have we been doing during those eighteen months and what plans do we have for the future?

You will have the opportunity to meet the PPC members and gain answers to those questions as well as making your own comments and suggestions for action, at our Parish Open Day.

In addition, each group and organisation in the Parish is invited to have a stall at the Open Day so that everyone can celebrate the good work which is happening, on a regular basis, throughout the year.

There will be prayer, discussion and refreshment- don't miss out on this excellent opportunity to celebrate the life and work of our parish.

To the right are the reports from the different organizations working around our Parish of Blessed John Henry Newman which have been prepared for you to read so that when you come to the Open Day on 20th April you will have some idea of which of the displays you might be interested in and the questions you may want to ask.

The work of all these Organisations is voluntary. The people concerned give up their time willingly to help keep our Parish running as smoothly as possible and to keep it together. If you think you might be interested in joining our volunteers then this will be your opportunity to introduce yourself.
